The Sun Valley Summer Spanish Institute provides a unique opportunity for adult students to develop their Spanish language skills and to broaden their knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures. The morning academic classes range from a beginning level to an advanced level. The afternoon cultural workshops range from art history to music to cooking and more. The intensive week-long format and diverse activities are designed to challenge motivated learners in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Registration opens April 2, 2012.

Daily Schedule, Monday-Friday:

9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. - Academic language classes (divided into 4 levels)
1:15-4:30 p.m. - Cultural workshops, activities, and grammar clinics

Tuition:

$350

Several $250 scholarships are available through the CSI Blaine County Center. Individuals must submit a letter of application by April 2, 2012.

College Credit:

Two lower division college credits are available through the College of Southern Idaho, or two upper division credits are available through Idaho State University, for an additional fee. To receive credits, students must attend all classes and submit a portfolio of work at the end of the week.
